At Ever After Doodles, we select our breeding dogs for their excellent temperament, beautiful coats, and strong genetic health. Each parent is fully health-tested, well-socialized, and cared for like family, ensuring the best possible start for every litter.

Jimmy is one of the primary sires used in our breeding program. At approximately 15 pounds, he contributes intelligence, athleticism, and trainability.
His Merle genetics produce both Traditional Tri-Color and Merle F1 Mini puppies, including many with natural blue eyes. He’s most commonly paired with our Bernese moms and is fully Embark tested.

The Breeds Behind Our Litters
Happily Ever After Doodles breeds health-tested Miniature Poodles (the Dads), Bernese Mountain Dogs (the Moms), and Bernedoodles (both Dads and Moms), to produce healthy F1, F1b, F2, and Multigenerational puppies.
Miniature Poodles
Our Miniature Poodle dads, Jimmy and Wesley, provide the highly sought-after traits of the F1 Mini Bernedoodle. These sires pass down incredible intelligence, athleticism, and trainability to their offspring.
Their genetics contribute intelligence, athleticism, trainability, and the low-shedding coat traits associated with Poodles. When paired with our Bernese Mountain Dog moms, they produce F1 Bernedoodles that combine traits from both parent breeds.
The Pairings & Puppies:
- Jimmy is paired with all of our Bernese Mountain Dog moms (Lilly, Cookie, Grace, Ellie, and Zoe). Thanks to his Merle genetics, these pairings produce both Traditional Tri-Color and Merle F1 Mini Bernedoodles, with a high likelihood of natural blue eyes.
- Wesley is paired with Lilly and Zoe and produces stunning Traditional Tri-Color Bernedoodles with a fluffy teddy bear coat and exceptionally sweet, well-rounded temperament.
Bernese Mountain Dogs
Our Bernese Mountain Dog moms, Lilly, Cookie, Grace, Ellie, and Zoe, are the gentle giants and heartbeat of our F1 breeding program. Weighing between 75 and 85 pounds, these elegant dogs provide the bedrock of our puppies’ temperaments.
Our Bernese Mountain Dog moms are known for their affectionate, loyal, and family-oriented temperaments. Their classic Tri-Color markings and gentle personalities contribute many of the qualities families love in Bernedoodles.
The Pairings & Puppies:
- Jimmy is paired with all of our Bernese Mountain Dog moms (Lilly, Cookie, Grace, Ellie, and Zoe). Thanks to his Merle genetics, these pairings produce both Traditional Tri-Color and Merle F1 Mini Bernedoodles, with a high likelihood of natural blue eyes.
- Wesley is paired with Lilly and Zoe, resulting in stunning Traditional Tri-Color Bernedoodles with that classic, fluffy teddy bear coat and sweet, well-rounded temperament.
F1 Bernedoodles
F1 Bernedoodles represent a 50/50 cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. Our F1 sire brings the best of both worlds to the table, boasting a wavy teddy bear coat and striking visual features.
When thoughtfully paired with other Bernedoodles, our F1 Bernedoodles can produce Multigenerational Bernedoodle puppies with beautiful coats, balanced temperaments, and a variety of colors and markings.
The Pairings & Puppies:
- Eli stands out with his magnificent Blue Merle coat and two naturally blue eyes. To ensure responsible genetics and vibrant health, Eli is strictly paired with Traditional Tri-Color and Chocolate Bernedoodle moms (and never another Merle). His pairings consistently produce a beautiful array of Merle and Traditional Tri-Color puppies with incredible coats and loving dispositions.
Multigenerational Bernedoodles
Our Multigenerational Bernedoodles are bred across multiple generations with a focus on temperament, coat quality, and consistency. At approximately 28 pounds, they offer a great mid-sized, manageable companion.
The Pairings & Puppies:
- Nash, our Traditional Tri-Color Bernedoodle sire, is paired directly with Arizona, our stunning Blue Merle mom who sports one unique blue eye. Depending on the exact genetic mix, Nash and Arizona produce an incredibly beautiful variety of both Traditional Tri-Color and Merle Multigenerational puppies, all featuring that classic, ultra-plush, wavy teddy bear coat.
